Sigurdson McFadden and Sigurdson Financial lend a hand to Habitat for Humanity event September 21, 2011

Sigurdson McFadden and Sigurdson Financial are pleased and excited to announce their involvement in a Habitat for Humanity fundraising event. On September 21st we are donning hard hats, hammers and steel toed shoes! We are lending a hand with the aim of providing a low income family a safe, decent and affordable home.
Habitat for Humanity's business model is simple: they provide a hand-up rather than a hand-down. While prospective homeowners have to apply and qualify for a mortgage, there is no down payment required and no interest charged. These mortgage payments, in turn, help fund further capital required to develop the next home.
