SM Benefits & Pensions:
Canadian Workers Value their Benefits
Posted by: Kevin McFadden
Employers often overlook the perceived value of benefits by employees when considering an overall compensation package. The recent 2011 sanofi-aventis Healthcare Survey supports this. Benefits are not only valued by employees they are a very tax effective method of compensating employees.
Sigurdson McFadden often encourages employers to pay 100% of the beneifts costs for their employees as it represents a good investment in goodwill and attracting A-list employees at a moderate cost.
Our experience is in working with leading employers is they employ this policy of paying for benefits and reaping the long term rewards of a loyal and motivated team.
